The Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest is a one-day heavy metal music festival held in West Tennessee. This will be the festival’s fourth year, and the event is growing in popularity as a festival that brings together heavy metal fans in an outdoor setting while presenting an eclectic variety of underground heavy metal bands and artists.
The festival features bands from all over the country, numerous art, craft, and food vendors, and is the only event of its kind in the Jackson, TN area. The aim of the festival is to connect bands and artists with new fans and supporters as well as to build a thriving heavy metal scene in the area.
The festival organizers are paving the way in allowing the bands and artists to perform and sell their goods while keeping 100% of their merchandise revenue. Each band that performs gets paid for their time, effort, and travel as well. We pride ourselves in treating each band with dignity and respect for their craft.
This is not a corporate-run festival and is owned and organized by a husband and wife who are passionate about the music. In order to be able to continue supporting bands and artists in this way, sponsors play a vital part in keeping this festival going. Our sponsors enjoy a wealth of brand exposure opportunities. The upcoming fourth annual festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at The Amp in Jackson, TN.

In a recent poll conducted by ABC News Channel 7 WBBJ, the festival was voted the number one “Most Anticipated” annual event in West Tennessee. Additionally, a documentary film about the festival, titled Death Reigns, has been produced and is set to release soon, further solidifying the festival’s impact on the heavy metal music scene.
